The two refund situations
1. We're late · automatic refund
Our delivery SLA is 24 hours from purchase. If we're late, we refund automatically — no request needed. The charge reverses on Stripe within 1–3 business days, and you keep the PDF if it eventually arrives.
2. You believe the methodology was misapplied · 7-day dispute window
Within 7 days of delivery, if you believe your audit was generated incorrectly — wrong business identified, wrong audience profile, verbatim quotes that aren't from the platforms claimed, methodology disclosure that doesn't match what we ran — email support@scoremybusiness.ai with the audit ID and your specific concern.
We review within 5 business days. If your dispute is valid, we issue a full refund and re-run the audit at no charge if you'd like. If the methodology was applied correctly, we send a written explanation citing the relevant section of our methodology.
What's not refundable
- Change of mind after 7 days. The audit is a measurement, not a service. Once we've delivered, the work is done.
- Disagreement with the score. A low score doesn't mean the audit is wrong. The audit measures what AI says; AI's view of your business is the data, not our opinion.
- Disagreement with the action items. Action items are correlative, not guarantees. We don't refund based on expected score lifts not materializing.
- Refunds for repeat purchases. If you buy a second audit at the same business and the score has shifted, that's data — not grounds for refund.
Bundle and add-on refunds
Bundle packs (5-pack, 10-pack) are refundable in full if no audit code has been redeemed yet. Once any code is used, refund is pro-rated based on remaining unused codes. Add-ons (extra competitor, extra language) follow the same SLA + quality-dispute logic as the base audit.
How we process refunds
All refunds go to the original payment method via Stripe. Most appear within 1–3 business days for credit cards, slightly longer for ACH. You'll receive a confirmation email when the refund is issued.
